Through user interviews and surveys, I uncovered a common frustration: the lack of playlist sorting options. With limited ways to organize playlists on Apple Music, users struggle to manage and refresh their libraries in a way that feels personal and intentional.

Solution

Rhythm Refresh is a smart playlist tool that helps Apple Music users sort their playlists beyond the platform’s built-in options. From mood-based sorting to multi-selection deletion of frequently skipped songs, it helps users organize, declutter, and personalize their playlists with minimal effort.

What Frustrates Users Most In Music Streaming?
Here’s What I Found.

To get the most raw, unfiltered feedback, I posted a prompt in both the Apple Music and Spotify subreddits asking users about their biggest frustrations with music streaming. I let real listeners speak for themselves and they didn’t hold back. While users shared a wide range of frustrations, cluttered playlists & limited sorting options was a reoccuring theme as the responses revealed deep frustration with how little control users have over organizing their music.
